This restaurant has 2 locations in the area. We came to this one because it was very close to the resort we were staying at. When we arrived, there were 4 ppl eating. We were greeted and seated. Wanted came with menus. Not a big menu but the carribean staples. A few dishes were market price. The server/bartender told us. We placed our orders and the food came out in a reasonable time. I like them using their namesake as centerpieces on each table. Food was decent and nice portions. If you are in this area, check them out!
Cute place! Fun atmosphere. Food is cooked to order and very fresh. Staff is nice and attentive. We enjoyed everything we had!
Tasty food with good customer service and located in midland of the island with nice music playing No complaints
Food was good chicken pieces were small. Nice ambiance in a hidden location off main road. Good cold Jamaican beer. Good for large groups.
My husband & I came here for dinner on Friday night. Surprisingly, we were the only people in there at first. Later, a few other people came in. This spot really IS a hidden gem! Our server, who I think may also be the owner, was awesome. I was trying to determine if I wanted the Trini Shrimp & Lobster vs the Brown Stew shrimp & lobster. She gave me the run down on the different flavors & I opted for the brown stew shrimp & lobster. It was so good!! Those flavors were so savory, exactly like she said! My husband got his usual: oxtails. He enjoyed his meal as well. All of the sides were good, too. We had rice & peas, cabbage, plantains & Mac & cheese. We also split a beef patty & some coco bread as our appetizers. I saved most of the bread to dip in my sauce in my entree though. I couldn't eat it all & had my leftovers for breakfast the next morning, it might have been EVEN better then, lol! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town.
